1. INTRODUCTION
Concierge is a comprehensive integration with SALTO Pro Access Space access control system designed to manage and monitor door access across your facilities. The application provides real-time door status monitoring, group management, lockdown capabilities, and automation features to enhance security and streamline access control operations.
2. SALTO PROACCESS SPACE COMPATIBILITY
All Salto ProAccess Space version from 6.0 and above are compatible with the Concierge V1.0.
2.1. Considerations

Concierge is most effective if there are SALTO Online Doors in the system, wired or wireless.

All SALTO devices are connected to the Salto ProAccessSpace software, as such all Salto hardware and functionality have to be configured by a Salto Certified Installer.

Concierge app is an aid to provide flexible, and remote management for SaltoProAccessSpace users.
2.2. SALTO ProAccess Space prerequisites
Salto ProAccessSpace software has to be installed, the full access control system has to be commissioned before the app is set up.
How to do it:

Salto ProAccessSpace latest version (min 6.0) installed and commissioned

Salto SHIP integration module is added to Salto Space
-
The Salto server is must be available on the network
-
Enable Port 8100 in the firewall settings, and make sure this port is forwarded if connecting from an outside network.

VPN connection recommended for security purposes but not mandatory.
3. SETTING UP SALTO PROACCESS SPACE
3.1. SHIP settings
-
Open the Salto Space application and log in with administrator access rights.
➜ Go to System/General Option.

2. Go to System/General Options/SHIP tab.
➜ Select HTTP(S) protocol.
➜ Set Authentication to Basic.
➜ Fill out the username and password field for the SHIP communication.
Make sure you remember the credentials as it will be needed during the Concierge settings.

3.2. SALTO ProAccess Space User settings

Go to System/General Options/Users tab.
-
Enable General Purpose Field 1 and 2.
➜ Set Field 1 to contain the user's email address.
➜ Set Field 2 to contain the user's phone number.

3. Double-check the users' email address.
The email address has to be correctly stored as it is used as a main identification data in the Concierge app.

4. SETTING UP THE CONCIERGE APPLICATION
4.1. Registration
When you first launch the app, you'll need to register.

Enter your name, email, and create a password. (From SHIP settings - Use the same email address as saved in Salto ProAccess Space.)

Accept the terms and conditions.
-
Tap "Register" to create your account.
-
You'll be prompted to set up a PIN for quick access.

4.2. Authentication
After registration, you can log in using quick access options:

Fingerprint (if enabled) or
-
PIN code.

4.3. Site Configuration
Before you can use the app’s features, you’ll need to activate your license (see License Management).
Once your license is registered, you must add at least one site. You can add up to five sites in total.

Navigate to "Site Management" from the drawer menu.

Tap "Add Site" to create a new site.

Enter the site details:
• Site Name
• Server Address
• Port Number
• Username and Password
4. Tap "Save".
To switch between sites:
-
Tap on the site indicator at the top of the screen.
-
Select the desired site from the list.

6. LICENSE MANAGEMENT
6.1 Activating Your License
-
Go to License Management.
-
Enter your license key or scan QR code.
-
Tap Activate License.
Note: The license is tied to the device’s hardware ID and cannot be moved, changed or edited later.
6.2 License Status
🟢 Green – Active.
🟡 Yellow – Expiring soon.
🔴 Red – Expired or invalid.
License information displayed includes:

License name
-
Expiration date
-
Masked license key
7. DOOR MANAGEMENT
Lists all available doors in the system. Online doors (wired or wireless) can be remotely opened.
7.1 Door Dashboard
Displays real-time status of online doors only.
➜ Go to Door Dashboard → View door statuses (open, alarmed, etc.)
Please note this menu is only for displaying information of online doors (door left open, door in alarm etc) door management is not possible from here. To open the doors please go to the “Doors” menu.
7.2 Door Groups
Door Groups (Zones) show all doors (online or offline).
Door Groups let you manage multiple doors at once. Follow these steps:

Go to “Door Groups” in the drawer menu or bottom navigation.

View the list of existing door groups.
-
Tap to expand the group you want to manage.
-
Select a door to open it remotely (only if the door is online).
If offline or not initialized, an error message will appear.
8. SECURITY FEATURES
8.1 Lockdown Mode
Lockdown Mode secures all doors during emergencies. Follow these steps:
-
Go to “Lockdown” in the bottom navigation.
-
Check the current lockdown status.
-
Tap “Activate Lockdown” to start lockdown.
-
To end lockdown, tap “End Lockdown” and confirm with your fingerprint or PIN.
During lockdown, all connected doors are secured based on SALTO Space’s configured policies.
8.2 Audit Logs
Audit Logs track all system activities.
Follow these steps:

Go to “Audit” in the drawer menu or bottom navigation.

View the chronological list of system events (all events from Space).
-
Filter events by date or select “Today Events” to see only today’s events.
9. AUTOMATIONS
The Automation feature lets you run output operations preset in SALTO Space.
Follow these steps:

Go to “Automation” in the drawer menu or bottom navigation.
-
Select the desired output.
-
Set the relay activation time or choose “Permanent activation” (until deactivated).
-
Choose the actions to perform (e.g. turn on lights, start HVAC).
Requires outputs pre-configured in SALTO ProAccess Space - let us know if you need support in this.
10. MAINTENANCE
The Maintenance section provides system diagnostics and tools.
Follow these steps:

Go to “Maintenance” in the drawer menu.
-
View the system logs.
-
Run a system diagnostic by tapping “Run Test”.
If the server connection is live, the test will return the SHIP protocol version, date and time, and selected language. If there’s a connection error, an error message will appear.
11. SYSTEM LOGS
The Concierge app logs every event triggered in the app for security auditing.

Events cannot be deleted or modified.
-
At the request of the security manager, events can be sent as an attachment:
-
Tap the ✅ in the top right corner.
-
Select the log or logs you want to send.
-
Once selected, a green “send” icon will appear in the top right corner.
-
Tap “send” to share the logs using your device’s messaging apps.
-
12. TROUBLESHOOTING
Common Issues:
License Validation Fails
-
Make sure your internet connection is working.
-
Verify that the license key is entered correctly.
-
Contact support if your license should be valid.
Cannot Connect to Site
-
Check the server address and port.
-
Ensure network connectivity.
-
Confirm your username and password are correct.
-
Make sure the server is online and accessible.
-
Confirm SALTO SHIP is configured.
Application Performance
-
Restart the application.
-
Check for application updates.
-
Clear the app cache in your device settings.
